words-she-never-said: de—atley: Everyone has their own unique story. We all have a beginning, and our tales unfold as we grow older. Ultimately, everything we experience leads up to an ending. Whether it’s a good or bad, it’s our own. Some of us live our lives like a novel: long, enriched, satisfying, and remembered for ages. Unfortunately, there are others that live like a short story, and some bring about their own conclusions way too soon. At one specific point, they all felt like they’re story wasn’t worth reading or hearing about, or even worth continuing after a certain low point. They felt that they would never be as “critically acclaimed” as they could have or should have been like “everyone else.” They felt like just another book. The worst of it all, some of those people don’t live on in memory after that. Their pain does, however, in the hearts of the friends, families and people alike that those poor souls never knew always truly cared. Sooner or later, they are forgotten and become just another sad ending. What if it didn’t have to be that way? What if they got a little praise for once? What if they even got a little help writing their story? Hell, what if their story could have ended, but it actually didn’t? This is a message to all of those who are struggling and suffering, and contemplating whether their story should still keep being written or not. To everyone out there, I want you to know that I think you’re story is absolutely worth reading about. To all those who passed away sooner than expected and thought to be forgotten, you WILL live on in the hearts like mine that are part of this project. To everyone out there reading this, carry on. I, too, know what it’s like to have the pain overcome me. It’s overwhelming and full of darkness. My story could have ended at one point, but thankfully, it didn’t. I’m hear now to tell you all to keep unravelling your tale. If you’re at a low point in your life, know that it’s only a part in your novel. The best parts have yet to come. The story must continue. We all have so much to offer to this world, we all can be strong enough to stay positive. I know it in my heart. Let’s not just write our stories; let’s create our own legacies.
